These cutting boards are available in drop, oval, rectangular with a handle and rectangle shapes with or without hand printed pattern. They are made of first quality maple 5/16” – 0.80 cm thick. One can dedicate one of them to cut garlic for example and thus save the taste contamination to the board of daily use. The small square board can also be used as a sandwich board for lunch to imitate what is done in Germany. They are also good for serving, as a wall decoration or for painting.
They are made in Beauce by a cabinetmaker whose reputation is well established in our region.
The cutting boards that require to be made with wood collages, i.e. those exceeding 5 1/2” – 14 cm in width, are made using food grade glue.
Lin + Quotidien cutting boards are made to last a lifetime and even longer, taking on a more and more beautiful aspect with time.
We recommend treating your cutting boards before first use with a food grade wax such as the one made by Caron&Doucet or a non-mineral oil also offered by this manufacturer. Caron&Doucet is a Quebec company located in Morin-Heights.
Please note that the boards have not received any treatment before being shipped to you.
