These textile bangles are made of pure linen wrapped around a memory wire held in place by an aluminum jewelry wire. We use linen scraps or our beautiful linen ribbons naturally dyed with flowers or fruits from the garden. The bracelets are decorated with recycled beads and stones or others gleaned here and there. Each bracelet is unique and handmade according to the Slow Stiching philosophy. This artisan-art requires to settle down, to appreciate the moment, to follow only the creative impulse of the moment. Slow Stiching is about taking a moment of calm to refocus, to go to the essence while creating something that doesn’t need to be perfect.
These wraps are offered in Blackcurrant (natural dye made from blackcurrants from the garden), Hollyhocks (natural dye made from black hollyhocks from the garden) and Ash Violet (linen scraps).
These bracelets are each time unique creations that will differ somewhat from those shown here even if we have kept the essence of the model.
